Mayan Sun is likely the darkest of the Faerieland stories. The story follows 44-year old Romulus, an academic with a fortuitous situation that lets him live largely without working. Having been raised in the most incestuous circumstances, having intercourse with his sister and being molested by his mother daily, he proceeds to indulge in sex with several girls at school. Later, he is involved with an orgiastic tribe of Mexican women, who have their own sexual rituals which are strenuously observed, involving usage of unusual drugs, sexual spells, and bloody carnal rites.
